Robert E. Yuskavage
Robert E. Yuskavage is Associate Director for International Economics at the Bureau of Economic Analysis. He is responsible for BEA’s international accounts, including the U.S. international transactions accounts and the U.S. international investment position, statistics on the operations of multinational companies (MNCs), and BEA’s data collection programs for U.S. MNCs and trade in services. Prior to becoming associate director, Mr. Yuskavage was chief of BEA’s Balance of Payments Division, where he led efforts to modernize and enhance the international accounts.
Before joining the International Directorate in 2008, Mr. Yuskavage served in BEA’s Industry Accounts Directorate as a researcher and manager. As chief of the GDP by industry program, he directed activities that significantly enhanced BEA’s industry accounts and led to major new initiatives, earning several awards for these efforts. Prior to joining BEA in the early 1990’s, Mr. Yuskavage conducted tax policy research at the Office of Tax Analysis in the U.S. Treasury Department. He holds an M.A. degree in economics from Penn State University.
