Ana Aizcorbe
Ana Aizcorbe is Chief Economist of the Bureau of Economic Analysis. She is primarily responsible for coordinating cross-program research projects and initiatives to provide supplemental measures in satellite accounts. She also acts as a liaison to the academic community.
Prior to joining the BEA in 2003, Dr. Aizcorbe was at the Federal Reserve Board where she conducted research in support of the Board’s industrial production index and the Survey of Consumer Finances. She has written numerous articles on theoretical issues underlying price measurement, with empirical applications to the high-technology and service sectors. She received her Ph.D. in economics from Boston College.
