RELEASE NOTES:

August 8, 2011
Web release of most NIPA tables not previously released with the “Selected” NIPA tables. Table 2.1 has been updated to include quarterly estimates for 1947-58. The release schedule for the remaining NIPA tables is available at NIPA 2011 Annual Revision Table Release Plan.

Errata: The estimates for personal saving as a percentage of disposable personal income (line 35) on NIPA table 2.6 "Personal Income and Its Disposition, Monthly" have been corrected for the period 2003-2007. The estimates released earlier today did not correctly incorporate the results of the 2011 annual revision of the national income and product accounts.

Monthly NIPA tables have been updated to include the release of June 2011 personal income and outlays.

July 29, 2011
Selected Tables have been updated to include the 2nd quarter advance release of GDP and the annual revision of the NIPAs. Additional data from the annual revision will be made available according to the Annual Revision Table Release Schedule.

On July 29, 2011, the GDP & Personal Income tables include updates for:

The “advance” estimate of GDP for the second quarter of 2011.
The regular annual revision of the estimates for the most recent 3 years and the first quarter of 2011.
Revisions to current-dollar GDP and some GDP components back to the first quarter of 2003.
Revisions to the levels of index numbers and to the chained-dollar estimates for the entire historical period when the estimates for the reference year (2005) are revised. Revisions to the percent changes before the first quarter of 2003 are small and are affected only by rounding and interpolation.

Selected Tables have been updated to include the second estimate of the 1st quarter GDP.

RELEASE NOTES--UNDERLYING DETAIL:

August 11,2011 - The sixteen tables that include inventory-related estimates only for 1997 and earlier are now available. Six of these tables (1AU2, 4AU1, 4AU2, 4AU3, 5.6.6AM, 5.6.6AU) are updated to reflect corrections in the underlying data. With the exception of 1980, most of the corrections are small.

August 4,2011 - Estimates for second quarter 2011 have been updated in the underlying detail tables to reflect the July 29 GDP release, including the new tables and new lines that were previously announced. Sixteen tables that include inventory-related estimates only for 1997 and earlier will be updated soon.

June 27, 2011 - Estimates for first quarter 2011 have been updated in the underlying detail tables to reflect the June 24 GDP release.

May 27, 2011 - Estimates for first quarter 2011 have been updated in the underlying detail tables to reflect the May 26 GDP release.

April 29, 2011 - Estimates for first quarter 2011 have been updated in the underlying detail tables to reflect the April 28 GDP release.

March 28, 2011 - Estimates for fourth quarter 2010 have been updated in the underlying detail tables to reflect the March 25 GDP release.
