Formats for the
2011 Annual Revision of the
National Income and Product Accounts

This page provides the draft interactive NIPA table formats for the NIPA tables
for which lines will be added, deleted, or otherwise changed as a result of the
NIPA annual revision that will be released beginning on July 29.
Two new underlying tables are also being added, “Table 2.4.3U. Real Personal Consumption Expenditures by
Type of Product, Quantity Indexes,” and “Table 4.3BU. Relation of Foreign Transactions in the National Income
and Product Accounts to the Corresponding Items in the International Transactions Accounts.”

on the links below will retain their current format.

UPDATE July 12:
Table 1.14: The line “Undistributed profits (without IVA and CCAdj)” was added to the addenda; The new line is line 34.
Tables 3.6 and 7.8: The code for “Federal employees unemployment insurance” (lines 11 and 28, respectively) has changed.

2011 Annual Revision Table Release Plan
July 29 :
Advance GDP news release for 2011:QII and Web release of the “Selected” NIPA tables
August 2:
Personal income and outlays news release for June 2011, and Web release of monthly NIPA tables.
August 5:
Web release of "Underlying Detail" tables.
August 9:
Web release of most NIPA tables not included in the “Selected” NIPA tables. A large set of NIPA tables will be printed
in the August Survey of Current Business.
August 26:
“Second” GDP news release for 2010:QII; the “Selected” NIPA tables will be updated on the Web for 2010:QII.
August 29:
Personal income and outlays news release for July 2010. The monthly NIPA tables and “Underlying Detail” tables will be updated on the Web.
September-October-November:
Web release of NIPA tables: 2.9, 3.15-3.23, 7.15, and 7.20; these will be printed in the corresponding issues of the Survey.
