• The years 2004-2006 have been revised since the March 2007 release.

March 27, 2007
• The years 2003-2005 have been revised since the September 2006 release. Population and per capita estimates have been revised back to the year 2000. New preliminary estimates for 2006 have been added in some tables. Earnings (SA05N) and employment (SA25N) by NAICS industries back to 1990 have been incorporated. The format of files has changed; if you create your own CSV files using the software this will not be a concern.

• Years 2003-2005 have been revised since the March 28, 2005 release.
• If you downloaded setup_spi.exe on September 26, 2006 there was a problem with the file SA50.DFX (it was missing some estimates in years 1960-69). This problem was corrected the same day.

March 28, 2006
• Years 2002-2004 have been revised since the September 28, 2005 release. Population and per capita estimates have been revised back to the year 2000.

December 12, 2005
• Three data files are missing from the SPI CD-ROM, in the quarterly series. They are SQ1.DFX, SQ4.DFX, and SQ6.DFX, in the SQPI directory. These files are accessed from the State Quarterly Personal Income software, as the tables SQ1, SQ4, and SQ6 (SIC). The downloadable SPI software and estimates, available from this page, does not include the state quarterly series, so it is not affected. A downloadable version of the latest quarterly personal income estimates is always available on our website at http://www.bea.gov/regional/sqpi.
• A Full Installation from a SPI CD-ROM (setup_full_install.exe) fails to install the Quarterly personal income software and estimates, but the SPI CD installation software creates an icon for the State Quarterly Personal Income Windows application anyway. The software and data may be installed by directly copying the SQPI directory from the SPI CD-ROM to the installation location on your computer. A regular installation from a SPI CD-ROM (setup.exe) properly installs the quarterly personal income software, but in this sort of installation the CD-ROM is required for the software to run. Please note that some files are missing-- see note #1. A downloadable version of the latest quarterly personal income estimates is always available on our website at http://www.bea.gov/regional/sqpi.
