New value-added multipliers available with 2005 multipliers (October 2007)
Multipliers based on 1997 national benchmark input-output data and 2005 regional data are available for 473 detailed industries and for 60 industry aggregations. Multipliers based on 2005 national annual input-output data and 2005 regional data are available for 60 industry aggregations.
This update includes the release of new value-added final-demand multipliers. Value-added multipliers can be used to estimate how a change in final-demand in a region affects total value added in the region. These multipliers are included in all 2005 orders.
Multipliers may be ordered for any region composed of one or more counties at a cost of $225 per region. For each region that you order, you will receive multipliers for all available RIMS II industries. Multipliers may also be ordered for any RIMS II industry at a cost of $50 per industry. For each industry that you order, you will receive multipliers for all states, the District of Columbia, and the Nation.
The RIMS II Viewer (version 3.0) is also available and may be downloaded free of charge from the RIMS II online order and delivery system.
