GDP and the Economy: Advance Estimates for the Fourth Quarter of 2009 (PDF • 504 KB)
Real GDP increased 5.7 percent after increasing 2.2 percent in the third quarter. Inventory investment accelerated, imports decelerated, and business investment turned up. In 2009, real GDP decreased 2.4 percent.
