Notice
Errors in the quarterly state personal income statistics for the first quarter 2009 through the third quarter
2009 that were released on December 17, 2009 have been corrected. The largest corrections were made to first
quarter growth rates. The corrections for the second and third quarter growth rates were small.
Statistics for all states were impacted, but to varying degrees. To facilitate users' assessments of
the importance of the corrections to individual states, a link to two tables of state by state corrections
to the levels and growth rates of first quarter 2009 personal income is provided in
Corrections and Revisions to Personal Income. (PDF •32 KB)
A full set of corrected tables is available
and an updated release containing the corrected data has been posted as well.
