“Other” private services receipts and payments were revised for 2004 to incorporate estimates based on the introduction of BEA’s new quarterly surveys of transactions with unaffiliated residents abroad. The surveys covered primarily business, professional, and technical services, financial services, and insurance services. Previous estimates were based largely on annual surveys.
