U.S. International Trade in Goods and Services, June 2025

The U.S. goods and services trade deficit decreased in June 2025 according to the U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis and the U.S. Census Bureau. The deficit decreased from $71.7 billion in May (revised) to $60.2 billion in June, as exports decreased less than imports. The goods deficit decreased $11.4 billion in June to $85.9 billion. The services surplus increased $0.1 billion in June to $25.7 billion.

Personal income increased 0.3 percent in December after increasing 0.1 percent in November. Wages and salaries, the largest component of personal income, increased 0.4 percent in December after decreasing 0.1 percent in November.

Personal income increased $50.2 billion (0.3 percent) in December according to estimates released today by the Bureau of Economic Analysis. Disposable personal income (DPI) increased $43.6 billion (0.3 percent) and personal consumption expenditures (PCE) increased $63.1 billion (0.5 percent). Real DPI increased 0.1 percent in December and Real PCE increased 0.3 percent. The PCE price index increased 0.2 percent.
